String or Paper Strip Method
The most accurate at-home method. All you need is a strip of paper, a pen and a ruler.

Cut a thin strip of paper (about 1 cm wide, 15 cm long) or use a piece of non-stretchy string.

Wrap it snugly around the base of the finger you intend to wear the ring on. It should be snug but not tight.

Mark the point where the paper overlaps with a pen.

Lay it flat and measure the length from the end to your mark with a ruler. Enter that number below in millimeters.

Measure in the evening
Fingers are at their largest at the end of the day and in warmer temperatures.
Wide bands need more room
For bands 6 mm or wider, consider sizing up by half a size for comfort.
Measure 2–3 times
Take two or three measurements and use the average for the best accuracy.
Right vs left hand
Your dominant hand is typically about half a size larger. Always measure the specific finger.

Pro Tips for the Perfect Fit
Temperature affects sizing
Cold weather shrinks fingers; heat expands them. Measure when your hands are at a comfortable temperature.
Knuckle considerations
If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between.
Band width matters
Wider bands sit higher on the finger and feel tighter. Size up ½ a size for bands 6 mm or wider.
